Grants and Partnerships

BoatLife Foundation actively seeks grant, sponsorship, and community partners to advance its mission.

We are a new organization, and this page is written the way we would want to read it: what we have, what we do not have yet, and exactly where a funder or partner fits in.

Awarded grants

None to date, and we will not dress that up

Some organizations fill this section with logos and sample awards. There is nothing to report here yet, so there is nothing here.

BoatLife Foundation has been awarded zero grants and has received zero grant funds.

The organization was formed on July 22, 2026, so there has not yet been a grant cycle in which to apply, be reviewed, or be awarded. No application has been submitted to any funder, and no award decision is pending.

When that changes, this section will list each award: the funder, the amount, the period, and the program it supports. It will also record awards we applied for and did not receive.

Funding sources we are pursuing

Where our programs line up with existing public funding

These are the programs whose published purpose most closely matches the work we intend to do. Listing one here means we are researching it and building toward eligibility. It does not mean an application has been submitted.

U.S. Department of Homeland Security

U.S. Coast Guard Recreational Boating Safety

The federal program most directly aligned with our safety mission, supporting boating safety education, equipment access, and outreach.

Researching eligibility. No application submitted.

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

NOAA Community and Habitat Programs

Coastal resilience, habitat restoration, and marine education funding relevant to our conservation and education work.

Researching eligibility. No application submitted.

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

EPA Water and Watershed Programs

Water quality monitoring, watershed protection, and environmental education opportunities.

Researching eligibility. No application submitted.

State of New Jersey

New Jersey State Programs

State-level boating safety, environmental, and community grant programs serving New Jersey waterways.

Researching eligibility. No application submitted.

Most of these sources expect an applicant to show delivery capacity and local partners. That is the practical reason we are recruiting community partners first, before we chase larger public funding.

Partnership opportunities

Four kinds of partner we are looking for right now

We have no partner organizations yet. These are the roles that are open, and founding partners help decide which programs launch first and how results get measured.

Corporate Sponsors

Marine industry companies and regional businesses supporting specific programs or general operations.

Foundations

Private and community foundations funding safety, environmental, and youth education work.

Government Agencies

Federal, state, and municipal agencies seeking a local delivery partner for waterway programs.

Community Organizations

Boating clubs, marinas, schools, conservation groups, and veteran organizations.

Grant readiness

What a funder can verify about us today

A new organization cannot offer a track record. What it can offer is a clean legal foundation, named people, and a program plan specific enough to fund. Every item below is on the public record.
